Setting up a good autocoding structure can take time but the benefit of having consistent information is quickly realised.
How to maximise autocoding
To use autocoding to its full capability, it's important to think about the information that's available and how best to use it in your database.
You may even want to consider updating the information in your bank Payee list to get the most out of autocoding.
Scenario:
Sal has four Genesis accounts for 2 farms that are enterprised in her database.
To fully utilise autocoding, she updates the bank's payee information and creates each Genesis account number as its own Payee.
They are now clearly defined, so Sal can use this information to automatically code each power bill to the correct electricity code and enterprise.Want to know more?
